Delivery
Do you deliver flowers the same day in Calgary?
Yes — seven days a week. Order by 7:59 PM and we deliver today. Delivery windows are 10 AM–12 PM, 12–4 PM and 4–8 PM Monday to Saturday, and 12–4 PM and 4–8 PM on Sundays.
How much is flower delivery in Calgary?
$15 anywhere in Calgary. $25 to Airdrie, Cochrane, Chestermere, Okotoks, Langdon, De Winton, Heritage Pointe, Balzac, Conrich, Springbank and Rocky View County. $30 to Strathmore and Bragg Creek. The checkout sets the fee from the delivery address. Further out? Call us to confirm.
Is there a cut-off time for same-day delivery?
Order by 7:59 PM for delivery today — the last window is 4–8 PM. After that, choose tomorrow at checkout.
Can I choose a delivery time?
Yes — pick a window at checkout: 10 AM–12 PM, 12–4 PM or 4–8 PM (on Sundays 12–4 PM or 4–8 PM). Once a window has started, checkout offers “Next available slot” instead. Windows are estimates: weather and traffic can shift them.
What areas do you deliver to?
All of Calgary — every quadrant and neighbourhood — plus Airdrie, Cochrane, Chestermere, Okotoks, Strathmore, Langdon, De Winton, Bragg Creek, Heritage Pointe, Balzac, Conrich, Springbank and Rocky View County. Further out? Call us to confirm.
Do you deliver on Sundays and holidays?
Sundays, yes: 12–4 PM and 4–8 PM. When we’re closed for a holiday, it’s announced on the site and checkout won’t offer that day.
Recipients, hospitals and nobody home
What if the recipient isn’t home?
We leave the flowers somewhere safe — at the door, with the reception desk, with the concierge, with a neighbour or in the mail room. They travel in an aqua box with water and hold a few hours. We tell you by text and email exactly where, and text the recipient too if we have their number, usually with a link to the driver’s photo of the spot. If we can’t leave them, we bring them back and keep them cool, and send you a link by text and email to choose a new time — a second trip costs the same as your original delivery fee, plus GST (nothing if your delivery was free). Or we call you.
Will the recipient know the price or who sent the flowers?
If you give us the recipient’s number, they get one short text that flowers are on the way to their address — it doesn’t name you, the bouquet, the order number or the price.
Can you deliver flowers to a Calgary hospital?
Yes. We take flowers to the front desk by the main entrance — AHS doesn’t allow deliveries into patient care areas. Some hospitals and units don’t allow fresh flowers, so check with the unit first — each hospital page has the details.
Ordering
How do I place an order?
Pick a bouquet in the shop (or take the 4-question Bouquet Finder quiz), add the recipient, a delivery date and a card message, and pay by card. It takes a couple of minutes.
Can I order flowers for a future date?
Yes. At checkout you choose a delivery date and a time window, so you can schedule a birthday or anniversary bouquet in advance.
Can I include a personal card message?
Yes. Add your message at checkout and we hand-write it on a card that goes with the bouquet, at no extra cost.
Can I get a photo of the bouquet before it's delivered?
Yes — tick "Send a photo of the bouquet when it's ready" at checkout. We send the link to you, never to the recipient, so the surprise holds.
Will my bouquet look exactly like the photo?
Very close. Every bouquet is arranged by hand from seasonal stems — if a flower isn't at its peak, we substitute one of equal or greater value in the same style and colour. The wrapping paper and ribbon may be a different colour from the photo.
Changes, payment and quality
Can I change or cancel my order?
Contact us as soon as you can. Changes are free before the delivery day — the date, the recipient, the address, the card message — and the address can be changed free of charge right up until the driver leaves. For a cancellation, what comes back depends on the notice we have, counted from your delivery time: 24 hours or more and you get 90% back to your card or 100% as store credit; less than 24 hours and it is 50% back to your card or 75% as store credit, because by then the flowers for your order have been bought and prepared. An order that is out for delivery can no longer be cancelled. See our refund policy for the details.
How do I pay, and is it secure?
By card at checkout through Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. Prices are in Canadian dollars; 5% GST is added at checkout.
What if the flowers arrive damaged or not fresh?
Please check your bouquet at the moment of delivery. If anything isn't right, tell our driver or contact us straight away, while you're receiving it, and we'll look into it. Once an order is received without a concern raised at the time of delivery, the flowers are considered to have arrived in good condition. See our refund policy for details.
Flower care
How long do the flowers last?
Sofiori bouquets are made from fresh seasonal stems and typically last about 5 to 7 days, often longer. Keep them in plain clean water — no flower food powders, we do not use them — change it every day or two, trim the stems each time and keep them out of direct sun and drafts. What each flower wants — water, how long it lasts, what people get wrong — is at sofiori.ca/flower-care.
