How delivery works

  1. Step 1: Pick a day and a time window

    Delivery windows are 10 AM⁠–⁠12 PM, 12⁠–⁠4 PM and 4⁠–⁠8 PM; on Sundays 12⁠–⁠4 PM and 4⁠–⁠8 PM. Order by 7:59 PM for delivery today — once a window has started, checkout offers “Next available slot” instead. Windows are estimates: weather and traffic can shift them.
    The delivery fee is set by the address: $15 anywhere in Calgary, $25 to nearby suburbs, $30 to Strathmore and Bragg Creek.

  2. Step 2: We confirm your order

    You get a confirmation by text and email as soon as the order is placed, then an update at each step below.

  3. Step 3: Our florist makes your bouquet

    When it’s finished, we let you know by text and email. Most bouquets are photographed at this point — the photo is saved with your order in your account, and when the florist shares it, we send you the link. The recipient doesn’t see it.

  4. Step 4: On its way

    When the driver heads out, we tell you by text and email, usually with an arrival estimate (for example, “about 15–30 minutes”).
    If you give us the recipient’s number, they get one short text that flowers are on the way to their address — it doesn’t name you, the bouquet, the order number or the price.

  5. Step 5: Handed over

    We hand the flowers to the recipient and tell you by text and email once they’re delivered. The driver usually takes a photo, which you’ll find with your order in your account.
    Hospitals: we take flowers to the front desk by the main entrance — AHS doesn’t allow deliveries into patient care areas. Offices and hotels: reception or the front desk.

  6. Step 6: Nobody home?

    We leave the flowers somewhere safe — at the door, with the reception desk, with the concierge, with a neighbour or in the mail room. They travel in an aqua box with water and hold a few hours. We tell you by text and email exactly where, and text the recipient too if we have their number, usually with a link to the driver’s photo of the spot.
    If we can’t leave them, we bring them back and keep them cool, and send you a link by text and email to choose a new time — a second trip costs the same as your original delivery fee, plus GST (nothing if your delivery was free). Or we call you.

When we deliver

We deliver same-day, seven days a week: order by 7:59 PM and it’s delivered today in our last window, 4–8 PM. After that, pick tomorrow. You can choose a delivery date and time window at checkout, and we’ll do our best to hit it (times are estimates and can shift with weather or traffic). On the few days the studio is closed, checkout shows them as unavailable.

Substitutions

Because we work with the freshest seasonal stems, the occasional flower may not be at its peak. When that happens we substitute one of equal or greater value in the same style and colour, so your bouquet always looks its best.
